Megiddo

(Coming Spring 2025)

A religious doomsday prepper who lives off the grid patiently awaits the rapture. When he hears a knock on the door his world and his views on religion are turned upside down.

Megiddo was written and directed by Red or Green Entertainment’s own Jeremy Lawrence Tkach, growing from a moment of viral inspiration into a darkly captivating short. The concept sparked from a TikTok video featuring a fervent man vowing to defend his off-grid home against the “mark of the beast” from the Bible. From there, the story took on a life of its own, growing through intense and surreal imagery. Jeremy envisioned Daniel, a reclusive and maniacal prepper, basking naked in the moonlight as an offering to God—a scene almost homoerotic in its devotion and raw, visceral connection to faith.

The role of Daniel was crafted with Charlie McGuire in mind, and he brought a chilling authenticity that elevated the character's intensity and complexity, making him both fearsome and oddly magnetic. His portrayal captured the madness and fragility of a man on the edge, embodying the dedication and depth that Jeremy imagined from the start.

The crew behind Megiddo was a phenomenal group, many of whom carved out time to film this passion project on weekends, balancing it with their work on major network and studio productions. Their commitment to Megiddo brought unmatched energy, technical prowess, and a shared drive to create something unforgettable. It was an incredible experience for Red or Green Entertainment to bring such a talented team together, capturing the unsettling world of Daniel’s isolation with the haunting beauty and grit that the story demanded
