Voided Signs

A young man introduces his new girlfriend to his parents only to discover his mothers memory loss is getting worse. Was his sister hit by a car when he was younger or was is alien abduction?

Voided Signs is a thrilling dive into the unknown, tackling themes of memory loss and alien abduction in a chillingly suspenseful short film. This project was our entry for the 72 Hour Film Fest, and we’re immensely grateful to Laurie Lyons for sponsoring us and making our participation possible. With only three days on the clock, we assembled an all-star team, bringing in Diego Goncalves as a guest director. Diego’s unique vision and creative approach guided our story to life, while our talented editor, Kylie Helphrey, and composer, Thomas Ropp, brought polish to the final cut.

Filming and editing within the festival’s tight deadline was a whirlwind experience, but the energy and camaraderie on set made it all worth it. Working alongside our peers, collaborating, laughing, and problem-solving together, reminded us why we love making movies. The final product, which stars Mark Stulberger, Pamela Delany, Charlie McGuire, Michelle Goncalves, and Audrey Morrison, showcases not only our storytelling but also our dedication to capturing a cinematic feel, even under intense time constraints.
